Dr. Jose Antonio Tabush
Dr. Jose Antonio Tabush Clare is a Doctor and Surgeon from the UCIMED University of Medical Sciences, where he received the Cum Laude Probatus distinction. Graduated in the Specialty of Dermatology from one of the most prestigious Hospital Centers in Latin America: The INDERMA Institute of Dermatology and Skin Surgery, located in Guatemala City, has 5 locations throughout the country and is exclusively dedicated to Medical Dermatology and Surgical.
He also stood out for being Head of Residents during the course of his entire postgraduate course. And he obtained the August C. Stiefel Prize from the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV). 2002.
Dr. Tabush is a national and Central American pioneer in the use of different laser techniques in Dermatology, and has been a member of the ASLMS (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery) for more than 10 years.
Thanks to his recognized experience and knowledge, he is regularly invited as a speaker at dermatology congresses both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Arturo Soto
Dr. Arturo Soto Mora is a Dermatologist Doctor certified by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Costa Rica. He completed his studies in general medicine at the University of Medical Sciences (UCIMED) and later obtained his title of specialist in dermatology after completing the residency program at the University of Costa Rica.
During his 4 years of training as a dermatologist, Dr. Soto trained at the main public hospitals in Costa Rica and subsequently worked at the Escalante Pradilla Hospital in Pérez Zeledón as part of his social service. Dr. Soto is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), as well as the American Association of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).
Dr. Soto has participated in multiple international conferences and trainings on topics of clinical and aesthetic dermatology.
In 2016, the medical journal PIEL (Spain) published a scientific article of his and, as international recognition, Dr. Soto won the prize for the best case of the EADV at the University of Bologna, Italy.
Dra. Elizabeth Acón
Dr. Elizabeth Acón Ramírez completed her studies in general medicine at the University of Medical Sciences (UCIMED) and later obtained a postgraduate degree in Dermatology at the University of Costa Rica.
During her four years of training as a dermatologist, Dr. Acón trained in the main public hospitals in the country and also completed a training stay at the Melanoma and Pigmented Lesions Unit of the Dermatology Service of the ¨Institut Clinic de Medicina i Dermatologia (ICMiD ) ¨ of the Hospital Clìnic of Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. Acón has participated in multiple international conferences and trainings in clinical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology.
In 2017, the Costa Rican medical act published a report of his case and as international recognition, Dr. Acón won, with the presentation of a clinical case, an official scholarship at the Annual Meeting of Latin American Dermatologists held in Argentina in May 2019.
